Support Mountainair Farm & Garden Market

Market organizer Nancy Stone writes,

Mountainair Farm and Garden Market Supporters,

A word of encouragement and a request for your continuing support for the Saturday Farm and Garden markets. Opening  day showed strong interest and support by the local community, visitors and vendors alike. We offered special attractions to celebrate and make the occasion festive. Now we need your help to support the market and keep it growing. Like any worthy, longterm project, this one calls for cultivation to grow it steadily by word of mouth and cooperation. It won't happen overnight or without community involvement.

As is to be expected, attendance and vendor numbers  following the opening do not match those for the festivities, so we're counting on your continued attendance and support. Market is also social - characterized by conviviality and a congenial atmosphere. We're sure you will enjoy the company, the products and the activity if you come and take part. There are bound to be more produce and more vendors when more produce is available. In the meantime, you can help by showing up, whether as visitor or vendor, and by spreading the word to friends, family and neighbors. We have great produce, plants, pastries, arts, crafts, garden related items and more. At market, you never can tell who or what will turn up, so come by Saturdays, 8-11 am, enjoy the market and help by being part of this local community effort.

Rebecca Lueras is our market manager so introduce yourself and share your ideas with her. We thank you for your continued support and help with this important community project. We're all in this together.
